BarCode Generator is able to generate and export barcode into image (PNG, JPG, TIFF). Supported barcode types: Codabar, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 93, Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, JAN-13, Bookland, UPC-A, UPC-E, Postnet, PDF417, truncated PDF417.

Pros: Bytescout BarCode Generator is an application for creating barcodes. One could save these barcodes as images. Image formats supported are PNG, JPG, TIFF and GIF. Barcode types supported are of a wide range. The application supports both 1D and 2D types of barcodes. These include Codabar, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 93, Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, JAN-13, Bookland, UPC-A, UPC-E, Postnet, PDF417 and Truncated PDF417. This application is based on SDK published by the same publisher and support several forms of controls that makes WinForms, WebImage and non visual controls available for integration with applications.

Several options of the barcodes and associated parameters can beset that include fonts, its size, foreground and background colors. Both vertical and horizontal formats for the barcodes can be generated. The application can be further tweaked though the source code available in the SDK.

Cons: Ability to generate barcode in random or in a given sequence and the ability to print bar codes on precut stickers would have been useful features.

Overall the application has a good set of features and is fairly easy to use. This rates a 3 star easily.
